/ The Iraqi Olympic team will play its third friendly match in its training camp today, Tuesday, against the UAE Olympic team.
The national team coach, Radhi Shenaishil, told Agency: “The team is ready for today’s match, and it will be an important third match for the players, especially since the Iraqi Olympic team is facing a good team like the UAE team.”
He said that through today’s trial, we will try to keep the team at the level of the matches and we will give the opportunity to new players to expand the national team’s base.
He added, “Our goal is to create harmony and understanding among the national team players, to see good performance and level, and to achieve satisfactory results during the friendly match we are playing today.”
The Iraqi Olympic team defeated its Egyptian counterpart by one goal to none last Saturday in a second friendly match hosted by the UAE Football Association Stadium in Dubai in preparation for the AFC U-23 Championship.
