The project is owned by the municipality, donors from the village also help

The central square in the village of Plakovo has a completely new look. A large embroidery and flower beds will welcome the residents and guests of the Veliko Tarnovo village.

More than 160,000 BGN were invested in the basic repair, provided by the budget of the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo. The project was also developed by the team of Mayor Daniel Panov. And financial support is provided by donors – local residents of Plakovo.

The new flooring is laid out in the form of embroidery – a symbol of both the Bulgarian intangible cultural wealth and the role of the residents of Plakovo in preserving the Bulgarian spirit. Recreational areas have been created with new park furniture. The lighting has also been updated.

Landscaping of the square is to come, and the planting of the selected species will be under suitable climatic conditions – after the heat and dry period have passed. An irrigation system will also be installed.

The renewal of the square is a fulfilled commitment that Daniel Panov and Plakovo Mayor Petya Toteva made to the local community.
