“Everyone has an understanding, this kind of shared understanding, of what it means to be Nintendo. And so when new ideas come out, there’s always the fact that it’s a new idea, but also the fact, is it a new idea that already has Nintendo’s core in it or not? And I think that’s something that, you know — we have this amazing shared vision, almost a little scary shared vision, so I think it’s not — it’s not going to change. “

It seems to be true. Even from the outside looking in, there’s definitely a sense that Nintendo employees share the same ideology when it comes to the brand and its games.

Another thing to consider is Miyamoto’s role in the company at this time.
