At the beginning of the hearing of his appeal following the disqualification of his candidacy, Shikli apologized to the judges for his statements against the judicial system. In an interview with Network B, the Knesset member emphasized that he only retracted statements that had a personal nature, but the criticism against the judicial system remained the same.
