MK Amichai Shikli wrote a letter to the chairman of the Israel Broadcasting Corporation requesting that he terminate the contract with Rami Yunis, who presents the program “From the Other Side” in Arabic here.
In obedience to Shikli, he wrote that “I have approached the Broadcasting Corporation in the matter of the antisemitic broadcast. We must not let go. Political correctness charges us heavy prices that go beyond the limits of the television screen.”
According to Shikli, Younes encouraged Arab society to use violence during the wave of riots during Operation Guardian of the Walls.

Meanwhile, a storm raged in the last days following the employment of Younes. Allegedly, Younes shared a post supporting BDS on his Facebook account. It was also alleged that Younes called the IDF soldiers “Nazis” in another post, in which he criticized the shooting to death of a paramedic on the Gaza Strip border.
The corporation responded: “The matter is being examined by the council’s ethics committee.”
