Tonight (Sunday), terrorists throw stones and bottles at Jews in the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood of Jerusalem as part of widespread Arab riots and attacks on Jews there.
It will be recalled that after an attempt was made last night to murder the Yoshiviev family living in the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood, MK Ben Gvir arrived and established a bureau there, demanding that the Jews in the neighborhood be secured. This is a family that has already experienced nine arsons of their vehicle and despite the clear writing that was on the wall the police did not do enough, if at all, to prevent the attempted murder of members of the Yoshaviev family. Only miraculously were the family members outside their home while the Molotov cocktail was thrown into the home and caused an arson.
Channel 14 reporter Hillel Bitton Rosen reported this evening that mediation attempts are being made between his office Deschel Naftali Bennett and MK Ben-Gvir through Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Leon, in an attempt to vacate Ben Gvir’s office by consent in exchange for permanent custody of the Yoshiviev family home.
Members of the Knesset from the joint list also came to the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood to ignite the riots there. Ahmad Tibi was documented trying to attack the deputy mayor of Jerusalem, Aryeh King. Police forces arrived to divide the parties.
