Broadcaster Shin Dong-yup revealed that his children know about his ex-girlfriend Lee So-ra.
On the 21st, Shin Dong-yup appeared as the first guest on Choi Yang-rak’s YouTube channel, ‘Choi Yang-rak’s It’s Okay.’
As soon as Choi Yang-rak met Shin Dong-yup, he praised him as a “national MC” and made everyone laugh by teasing him by saying, “There is no one among comedians who is this good-looking. But now that I look at him, he is helpless against the passage of time.”
Choi Yang-rak then said, “Dong-yeop looks like he’s still in his 20s, but I was surprised to see his age. He’s over 50. He was born in 1971 and is 53 years old.” He then said, “His family members are his wife, daughter, and son. And his ex-girlfriend is Lee So-ra,” which surprised Shin Dong-yeop.

Shin Dong-yup said, “The kids asked me, ‘Why did you break up?’ When my wife said, ‘We broke up because you’re taller than me,’ they understood.” He continued, “I thought they wouldn’t remember, but when I was talking to the kids and said that my mom was my first love, they said, ‘You met that lady, Lee So-ri (Lee So-ra) back in the day!’ It was so funny that they still knew her even though they couldn’t remember her name exactly because they were young.”
Meanwhile, Shin Dong-yup married PD Sun Hye-yoon in 2006 and they have a daughter and a son. Shin Dong-yup and model-turned-broadcaster Lee So-ra were in a public relationship in 1997, and broke up in 2001. They reunited for the first time in 23 years last year through a YouTube broadcast, drawing attention.
