Singapore: Businessmen Gautam Adani and Shiv Nadar have been included in the list of Asia’s top philanthropists published by Forbes magazine.
Headquartered in the United States, Forbes publishes annual lists of the world’s richest and most influential people.
In this way, it has been publishing the Best Donors List in Asia for 15 years. Its 16th annual list was released recently. Gautam Adani, chairman of Adani Group from Gujarat, has been placed in this.

He started the Adani Foundation in 1996 and has been doing various social services through it. Gautam Adhani celebrated his 60th birthday last June. At that time, he promised to give 60 thousand crore rupees for social service works.
He informed that this amount will be spent on health, education and skill development. Every year, 37 lakh Indians are benefited through his foundation. Next, businessman Shiv Nadar from Tamil Nadu has been included in this list.

He is the co-founder of HCL Technologies and has done more than Rs 8,000 crore worth of social work through the Shiv Nadar Foundation. In the current year alone, he has given 11,600 crore rupees to social welfare projects.
Apart from them, businessman Ashok Chuta from the IT sector and Indian-origin businessman Pramal Vasudevan from Malaysia are also included in this list.
