Daniel Kachappilly won the Child Talent Award at the Keli International Art Festival in Zurich, Switzerland. Daniel Kachappilly Thomas, also known as Danappan, became the individual champion by winning three first places and one third place in the events organized for girls and boys. Manju and Faisal Kachappilly are the son of a couple living in Bilton, Switzerland.
Keli International Art Festival Shivani Nambiar Second Time Art Gallery
Shivani Nambiar from Switzerland won the Kalathilaka title, beating out about 300 contestants at the festival. This is the second time Shivani Nambiar has won the Kalathilaka title. Shivani Kalathilakam won first place in three of the four events and one second place.
Shivani is the eldest daughter of the Sethunath Nambiar Mridula Sethunath couple living in Zurich. He has a brother. He is from Kannur. Shivani won the title under the tutelage of Rose Mary Benjamin, a well – known dance teacher in Switzerland.
Shivani, who has been studying dance for the last seven years, has been participating in the festival for four consecutive years. Shivani Kala Mela won the title of Kalathilaka from the junior category, beating the competitors in the senior category. Shivani was also present at the 15th Keli Kala Mela in 2019. Shivani has achieved the rare feat of being a two-time artist.
