Shlomi Dora is expected to be appointed coach of Nof Hagalil

After the relegation from the Premier League, Hapoel Nof Hagalil is preparing for the next season in the sub-league. The team will try to return to the main stage of Israeli football, and it seems that now it has also found someone who will try to lead it on the way there – Shlomi Dora.

The coach is expected to sign tomorrow (Wednesday) in the team and he may be joined by the professional team of the former Israel and Maccabi Haifa fitness coach, Eran Sado. Dora was appointed acting coach Umm al-Fahm in March 2022, and at the end of last season ended his role at the club. In the past, the coach coached quite a few clubs such as Hapoel Haifa, Hapoel Acre, Maccabi Netanya and Bnei Sakhnin and this time he was preferred over Moti Ivanir, who is also a candidate for the Galilee landscape.

Nof Hagalil returned to the Premier League after 15 years, but its comeback ended fairly quickly – when it finished the season with only 27 points and in last place in the table. Nof Hagalil was also the weakest scorer in the league with only 25 goals, like Hapoel Jerusalem.
