Local Community Shocked by Father’s Rape of 9-Year-Old Daughter
Shock and outrage have gripped the Sparta community following the revelation that a 40-year-old father has been accused of raping his 9-year-old daughter. The accused, who has not been named, allegedly threatened his daughter with imprisonment if she dared to speak out.
The horrifying details of the case emerged today when the suspect appeared in court. He is accused of raping his daughter since she was 4 years old and had even documented his crimes by storing 79 explicit photographs of the minor on his mobile phone.
The lawyer representing the accused, Giorgos Lymperis, claims his client confessed to other sexual acts but denies the specific charges. He pleaded for leniency, requesting privacy for his client and the family, citing the presence of two young children in the community.
The victim’s mother echoed this sentiment, prioritizing the mental health of her children above all else. She called for a specialist child psychologist to be brought in to support the family through this ordeal.
