There are actors in the Malayalam film industry who compromise for the sake of the film. However, there are not a few who quit movies because they couldn’t compromise on body language. Malayalam audience is waiting for Prithviraj’s Goat Life with a dramatic change in body and appearance. Mallika Sukumaran talks about this transformation which is not trivial at all.

Mallika said in an interview that she was shocked to see the photo of Prithviraj who had lost weight for the goat life and that he must have lost around 10-30 kg for the film. Mallika said that she was not shown any pictures of her starving and standing with the goat.

‘I was shocked when I saw a photo of me losing weight for a goat life. Very tired. Then Raju said that there is another picture which is not showing me. Almost ten and thirty kilos reduced. There was only bone. Along with it the chin goes down. Prithviraj himself has said that he will not lose that much weight again. Raju has taken so much trouble for the sake of the film,’ said Mallika.

‘Goat life is Blessy’s big dream. I am praying that that dream will come true with all the blessings. Blessy has been working for that one film for years. Raju also knew for that. The goat life was such a big wish,’ added Mallika.

Mallika Sukumaran stated that everyone who has read this novel has a curiosity to know how it will turn out into a movie and she also has a great curiosity and wishes that it would have been enough to get it out soon.

The goat life is Blessy’s dream for 14 long years. In 2008, Prithviraj was told the script of Blesi movie. The pre-production of the film started in 2018. In March 2020, the shooting of the film in Jordan was temporarily suspended due to covid. The team then resumed shooting in 2022 and completed their final schedule in Jordan.

The movie is a film adaptation of Benjamin’s famous novel ‘Adu Jivetham’. Prithviraj plays the role of Najeeb in the film. The film’s music is composed by AR Rahman. Rasul Pookkutty is doing the sound design for the film.
