To confirm this, the death toll in the PD 12 blast in the city of Herat has risen to 12, with 25 people injured, provincial health officials said, and the injured have been admitted to a regional hospital in the provincial capital, Herat.

According to the TOLO news agency, the bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police station.
