A gunman killed at least two people after opening fire inside a university hospital in Rotterdam, the second largest city in the Netherlands. According to local authorities, the criminal is a student at the institution.
A police and care teams continue to search for survivors and help rescue the injured. Videos posted on social media showed police instructing students to run away as heavily armed officers entered the hospital.

The victims are a 42-year-old teacher and a 39-year-old woman, whose 14-year-old daughter was also shot and is seriously injured, according to the Folha de S.Paulo.
The criminal managed to escape, but was found and arrested by the police about two hours after committing the crime, in Erasmus University Rotterdam.
One of the recordings showed a man in handcuffs, wearing what appeared to be camouflage pants. Via Twitter/X, the police ask that witnesses cooperate with the investigation.
