The events occurred in the food business marked with the name “Huaraches Martita”, located on the corner of the Puente Monzón walkway and 177 Sur Street, in the neighborhood Gabriel Ramos Millan in Iztacalco.

Through a call to 911, CDMX authorities were alerted about a shooting occurred around 2:00 p.m. in a food business in the Iztacalco mayor’s office.
As a result of the shooting against the business, a strong police mobilization was generated, after it was recorded one person dead and 3 injured.
Witnesses indicated that at least two armed individuals, who were traveling aboard a motorcycle, arrived at the business and without saying a word. they shot against the people who were inside the premises.
To the food business, located in the neighborhood Gabriel Ramos Millanagents from the Secretariat of Citizen Security arrived (SSC) of CDMX, who cordoned off the area.
Additionally, paramedics appeared at the scene after receiving the report, which confirmed that a man of approximately 40 years of age died at the scenewhile 3 people had gunshot wounds.
The injured were taken to a hospital in a private car, after it was ruled out that the injuries presented were life-threatening.
Meanwhile, experts from the CDMX Prosecutor’s Office arrived at the site, in order to collect evidence that will be used for the investigation in this case, in addition to transferring the body to the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo).
