New York: (www.kvartha.com 14.04.2022) Police have arrested a man who opened fire on an underground metro in Brooklyn. Frank James, 62, was arrested in Manhattan. The gun and van used by the attacker were found near the station on Wednesday.
23 people were injured in the shooting. Of these, 10 were shot directly. Five of them are said to be in critical condition. Police have announced a reward for information leading to the arrest of Frank James, who went into hiding after the attack. Frank James reacted on social media to the homeless and criticized the New York mayor.
The shooting happened on the subway at 36th Street in Sunset Park around 8.30am local time on Tuesday. Many people were injured in the stampede and panic during the shooting, which took place during rush hour. Police had intensified their investigation into the accused who escaped after the incident.
