Three people were seriously injured in a shooting near a Pizza Hut restaurant in Lynn, Massachusetts, according to local police. The incident occurred at 39 State St. shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The victims were treated at the scene and then transported to a nearby hospital. The conditions of the victims are unknown at this time.
Photos and video from the scene showed that the Pizza Hut’s glass storefront windows had been shattered and broken glass was scattered along the sidewalk. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing a commotion in the parking lot outside the restaurant.
The area outside the Pizza Hut was cordoned off by police tape late Tuesday night, and no arrests have been announced by police. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Lynn police at 781-595-2000.
