At around 19:50, the Mashtots Police Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received an alert that shots were fired on Hasratyan Street and there was an injured person.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene, it turned out that the shots were fired in the area of Hasratyan 8 building, from where one person was taken to the hospital by emergency doctors.
The patrols of the 4th battalion of the Yerevan regiment of the Police Patrol Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, the battalion commander Armen Gasparyan and the 2nd company of the 1st battalion of the same regiment, the 1st battalion commander Aram Dadoyan, the senior inspector of the Yerevan regiment service, Harutyun Grigoryan, arrived at the scene. , under the leadership of deputy battalion commander Artak Siradeghyan, company commander Garik Varosyan.
The operative group of the Davitashen police department, led by the head of the department Armen Harutyan, also arrived at the scene.
The patrols have demarcated the area and are waiting for the arrival of the forensic experts of the Police and the investigative department of the Ajapniak and Davitashen administrative districts of the Yerevan City Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
