Regarding the global traffic of TMCD, which includes cabotage and bulk, a year-on-year decrease of 4.9% has been recorded. This is due to a decrease in foreign traffic of 9.1%, while cabotage has seen an increase of 12.2%. On the Atlantic façade, a certain stability is observed, with an increase 1.5% compared to the last half of 2022 and a decrease of 2.0% compared to the first half of 2022.

It is relevant to highlight the positive performance of the international TMCD of vehicles under merchandise regime, which experienced a substantial increase of 42.4% in the first half of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022.

When analyzing the flows by countries of origin and destination, it is observed that on the Atlantic side there was growth in flows with Ireland (26.6%) and France (17.7%). On the other hand, in the Mediterranean area, decreases were recorded in all countries, with negative rates of 8.1% in Italy and 4.5% in Morocco. It is highlighted that the increase in flows with Morocco in the first half of 2022 was exceptional.

Regarding the supply of TMCD alternative to the road in the first half of 2023, a positive interannual variation in the capacity offered is observed on both facades. On the Atlantic side, there was a slight increase of 0.7%, going from 1.26 to 1.27 million linear meters, while on the Mediterranean side, the capacity offered increased significantly by 14.0%, reaching 3 .3 million linear meters from the previous 2.9 million.
