Kindu, March 20, 2023 (ACP).- A shortage of drinking water is observed in Ngombe village, in the Bangengele chiefdom in the territory of Kailo, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the head of this entity said on Monday in an interview with the ACP.

“This shortage is due to the lack of a well-built source of drinking water. This means that more than three thousand souls (3,000) use the waters of the rivers and unmedicated rains, thus causing water-borne diseases such as diarrhea and typhoid, which have become recurrent in the region”, underlined the village chief, Christophe Mussa.

To this end, he invited the public authorities, both provincial and national, humanitarian workers and men of good will to come to the aid of the population of this entity by building a source of drinking water to avoid this deplorable situation. .
