Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda was shot dead. The actor is currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Mumbai. India Today has published this news.
According to this report, actor-Shiv Sena leader Govinda was shot in his leg at 4:45 am on Tuesday (October 1). Originally, Govinda was preparing to go out at dawn. Earlier, while checking his licensed revolver, there was a misfire. And the bullet hit Govinda in the knee.
Later, Govinda was rushed to the hospital. He is currently kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Mumbai’s Critique Hospital. The media contacted the hospital authorities about this. But he expressed inability to comment. They said that the Govinder family will talk about the matter very soon.
Indian Express contacted Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja. He told the media that Govinda’s physical condition is now stable. But Sunita is now out of Mumbai; Left for Mumbai. He also said that he will go straight to the hospital after returning to Mumbai.
Govinder manager Shashi Sinha told Indian news agency ANI, ‘We have a show in Kolkata. I was supposed to catch a flight to Kolkata at 6 am today. The accident happened when Gobindji was leaving his house.’
Shashi Sinha informed Govinda’s physical condition and said, ‘Doctors have removed the bullet from Govindaji’s body. His physical condition is good now. He is still in hospital.’
