‘Shout Attackers Are Not Humans, Animals’

Advisor to the Ministry of Religion. AFM Khalid Hossain said, a class of people have entered the field to embarrass the government. They must be resisted. Those who attack places of worship are not human beings but animals. They will be severely punished under the existing law.’

He said these things at a discussion meeting organized by Metropolitan Public Puja Committee and Bangladesh Puja Celebration Parishad on the occasion of Janmashtami celebrations at Dhakeshwari National Temple Melangan in the capital on Friday (August 30).

The religious adviser said, since time immemorial, there has been a non-communal atmosphere in this country. It cannot be allowed to go to waste. There are many different religions in our country. It is our tradition. We want to cherish this tradition, hold it and show it to the world.

AFM Khalid Hossain said, there is a clear document, if anyone encroaches on any property within the borders of Bangladesh, they will be evicted with the help of law enforcement. If there is a case in the court regarding any inheritance property, it will also be settled quickly.

The religious adviser suggested installing CCTV cameras and strengthening the monitoring system in the security of the temple.

He said, nice words are easy, but nice deeds are difficult. Good words must be turned into action. We will speak nice words and do nice deeds. We want to build a beautiful, peaceful, happy and prosperous Bangladesh. Everyone’s cooperation is needed in this regard.

AFM Khalid Hossain requested everyone irrespective of religion, caste and caste to devote themselves to the work of building the country like in the liberation war.

Earlier the program was inaugurated by Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Ministry of Labor and Employment.

He said, in this country we-you have nothing to say. We are all people of Bangladesh. We are all citizens of Bangladesh and every citizen has equal rights. We are determined to preserve communal harmony and unity among us till the last day while we are in charge of the government.
