Thiruvananthapuram: A show cause notice was issued for recording footage without permission during the Kerala Assembly conflict. Notice sent to opposition MLAs’ PAs. In the notice issued by the Speaker’s office, it was said that the recording of the video from the high security area is against the rules and if the reason is not given, disciplinary action will be taken. The notices were issued to the PAs of MLAs M Vincent, T Siddique, KK Rama, MK Munir, AP Anilkumar, PK Basheer and Abid Hussain Thangal.

Meanwhile, Section 326 of the IPC, which was imposed against the opposition members in the case, was removed. The charge of assault causing injury was dropped. The move was made following the medical report that the watch and ward member’s hand was not broken.

But IPC 332 for causing injury by obstructing official duties was stayed. The case related to assembly handcuffs was transferred from the museum police. The Assistant Commissioner, Crime Records Bureau is in charge of the investigation.
