Meanwhile, after the ouster of the Awami League government on August 5, various calculations started with the plots allocated for political considerations, including Shubor’s plot. Following this, Rajuk has decided to cancel the plot of Arifin Shubo and Liton Haider.
Yesterday (Wednesday) the chairman of Rajuk confirmed the cancellation of Arifin Shubhar’s plot. General (Retd.) Md. Chiddikur Rahman Sarkar told the media, ‘We have started the work of preparing the list on the instructions of the Ministry. However, it is not possible to say how many plots will be cancelled. A list of hundreds of unregistered plots has been prepared; Which will be presented in the board meeting and the allocation will be cancelled.
