The retail giant Shufersal informed its customers about a month ago that in light of an update the chain received from the payment company Hyp (formerly Credit Guard) which provides payment services to Shufersal and other businesses, due to a nationwide malfunction that happened with them, double future charges were recorded for the same transaction to some of the Shufersal online and digital services customers, so first learned of ice.

But this evening (Sunday) we reveal that it turns out that this event apparently also damaged the benefits program called SUPREME coins. One of the customers contacted the customer service with the following message: “There is a disruption in the accumulation of SUPREME coins and as a result the system puts me in the red every month starting in March 2022”.

Shufersal’s answer was: “I thank you for waiting, after an inspection it entered a minus of coins from 13.9.22 due to a system malfunction that allowed several customers to convert coins beyond the amount they had. Shufersal does not oblige the customer to return the money, and therefore the coins go into a minus of the difference”.

It is also written: “In order to return to plus coins, you had to make purchases until you returned to plus coins, but each time you made a new conversion and therefore the amount of coins of the minus increased. You must make purchases without making a conversion, even if it allows you to convert, until you return to plus coins “.

The customer claimed to ice: “From my inspection there was no conversion beyond the amount I was entitled to. In short, they do not admit that their system is wrong and actually misleads the consumer, and in fact they create a false representation in order to increase purchases with the aim of allegedly offsetting the currency deficit.”

It was reported from Shufersal: “This is a one-off fault that was identified and dealt with immediately, in which the number of supreme coins for some customers was doubled. ”
