Doha: Shoura Council Deputy Speaker Dr. Hamda Bint Hasan Al Sulaiti. Dr. Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti added. She was speaking at the ‘First International Congress on Influential Women’ in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
During her speech, the Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council highlighted the activities and initiatives of Sheikha Mousa bint Nasser in the fields of education and health, both locally and globally. The fighting spirit of Palestinian women lasting almost a century and the role they played in raising the morale of their children in the face of occupation. Hamda recalled. Dr. Shireen Abu Akla, a journalist who was martyred in the effort to bring the truth to the world in the Palestinian issue. Hamda Alsulaiti recalled.
She pointed out the skills and qualities of women that can make an impact on the society. It also stated that these qualities include leadership skills, far-sighted vision, broad culture and constant focus on goals.
Islam is ahead of all civilizations in respecting women and giving them a great place in society. She said that women are the foundation for building society. During her speech, she also touched on the history of great women who left their mark in many fields of Islamic history.
