Jurassic Park III
The first film available on TV tonight is the third chapter of the sagaJurassic Park, film directed by Steven Spielberg and based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. In this third film we meet the paleontologist Alan Grant (Sam Neill) who, eight years after the tragedy that took place in the Isla Nublar park, returns to the island to study velociraptors, financed by the Kirbys (Tea Leoni e William H. Macy). Trying to overcome the terrible memories of the past and assisted by one of his students (Alessandro Nivola), Grant sets out on the adventure, but things soon start to go wrong, starting with an emergency landing on Isla Sorna, which will kick off another ride of terror and death. No Stop
For lovers of the action genre, it is broadcast at 9.18pm on Italia 1 No Stop, heart-pounding film starring Liam Neeson which confirms his qualities as an action actor, as well as a dramatic one. The story focuses on a federal agent who has just left New York airport for London, who receives threats: a passenger on the flight will die every twenty minutes unless he manages to extort a large sum of money from the government. The protagonist, however, also has to deal with the distrust of his colleagues, who think that he is the real blackmailer and that he has gone mad. He will therefore have to fight alone to try to unravel the mystery.
Bad Boys for life
Bad boys for life – available tonight on TV at 9.20pm on Rai 2 – it is the film that sees the return of the actors Will Smith e Martin Lawrence in the respective roles of Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, the policemen who made the fortune of the saga Bad Boys. In this new chapter the two protagonists are forced to face a threat that comes from the past and which has already attempted to put an end to Mike’s life. However, age begins to take its toll and doubts strike Marcus, who seems hesitant at the idea of taking to the streets again. But, after all, aren’t you “bad kids” all your life?
Shutter Island
The list of recommendations regarding the films to see on TV this evening concludes with a recommendation regarding the second evening: at 11.25pm on Italia 1, in fact, it is broadcast Shutter Island, one of the most beautiful films made by director Martin Scorsese. The story is that of a detective (masterfully played by Leonardo DiCaprio) who is hired together with his colleague (Mark Ruffalo), to investigate the disappearance of a patient from a maximum security psychiatric clinic, located on an island from which it is apparently impossible to escape. Soon, however, the detective begins to suspect that there is much more to Shutter Island than he sees, and the search for him leads him to also investigate the loss of his wife, until the unexpected ending.
