AIADMK general body convened today. Former minister CV Shanmugam said he would reject all resolutions at the meeting. He also announced that the General Committee members would like to bring EPS as a single leadership. His supporters, including the OPS, walked out in protest.
Meanwhile, AIADMK workers hoisted the AIADMK flag at half-mast in support of the AIADMK coordinator OBS at the Michael camp near the Nilakkottai in Dindigul district.
Sagairaj, Maria Michael, Anburos, Lawrence and other AIADMK leaders marched on the Michael Palayam-Dindigul road, led by AIADMK branch executive Sakayam at Michael Palayam. Then the AIADMK flag was flown at half-mast. Also, slogans were raised in support of the OPS.
