From Friday, everyone can take a look at the products at the IFA technology fair in Berlin. t-online is already collecting the most exciting new products for you.

Europe’s largest trade fair for consumer electronics and household technology, the IFA Berlin, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Around 1,800 exhibitors are expected this year – slightly fewer than last year.

But at this year’s IFA we will also find out which technology highlights will be on display in the electronics markets in autumn and winter. On Wednesday and Thursday, before the trade fair opens, the press conferences of the companies involved will take place on the media days.

t-online is on site for you, traveling between unfinished exhibition stands and looking for the most exciting technology highlights that will be presented at and outside the trade fair. Our overview:

Anker’s popular “Soundcore Space One” headphones are getting a high-end version. The Chinese manufacturer showed the “Soundcore Space One Pro” at Ifa 2024. The devices are inexpensive compared to the over-ear headphones from other manufacturers.

The “Soundcore Space One Pro” can also keep up with the competition in terms of features. Anker promises a battery life of up to 40 hours with active noise cancelling. Without ANC, the headphones should even last up to 60 hours. By comparison: Apple’s AirPods Max give up after just 20 hours.

The headphones can be charged using USB-C quick charging. After just five minutes, the device can be used for another eight hours. Users can fold the black or cream-colored headphones to half their size. With a separately available travel bag, the device can be safely stowed in hand luggage.

The “Soundcore Space One Pro” will be available from mid-September for 199 euros.

Household appliance manufacturer Bosch equips its Series 4 and 6 ovens with Air Fry and steam support.

Air Fry helps to fry dishes, says Bosch. The manufacturer equips its devices with a baking tray specially designed for this purpose. And with the steam support, “bread, roasts and other dishes should turn out easily,” according to the advertising promise.

With a camera inside the oven, the device uses artificial intelligence to detect the degree of browning of dishes and adjusts the baking program accordingly.

Another new Bosch household appliance is the Vitapower Series 6 stand mixer. With 1,800 watts and up to 45,000 revolutions per minute, it is designed to deliver the best results when pureeing, chopping and mixing. The mixer automatically recognizes the manufacturer’s to-go drinking bottles and adjusts its automatic programs accordingly.

Unlike its usual FritzBoxes, AVM has presented the 4690, a WLAN router that does not have a modem, meaning that it cannot establish a connection to the Internet. The target group for the device is anyone who already has an Internet modem or who has one provided by their Internet provider. AVM already has such a device on the market with the FritzBox 4050.

The FritzBox 4690 can be flexibly combined with all Internet technologies. It is not only possible to use it with a DSL or cable modem: Because the router can distribute an Internet bandwidth of up to 10 GBit/s in the home network, it is particularly well suited for fast fiber optic connections, as AVM announced during the IFA.
