jpnn.comJAKARTA – PT Siemens Indonesia donated electric power system planning and analysis software to three leading universities in Indonesia.

The three universities are the University of Indonesia (UI), the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya, and the PLN Institute of Technology.

Through the Siemens University Initiative Program, Siemens Indonesia provided grants for Siemens PSS®E and PSS®SINCAL Electric Power System Planning and Simulation Software for three universities.

This software will be integrated into the faculty’s teaching curriculum to support students in preparing for electrical design modeling and future power grid planning.

Siemens is also committed to supporting Indonesia through technology towards an environmentally friendly energy transition and improving workforce skills.

Siemens Indonesia is further strengthening its partnership with Swiss German University through the transfer of knowledge in the field of cyber security for industry.

This partnership focuses on joint studies on cybersecurity technology for industry to increase Indonesia’s resilience and competitive advantage.

President Director and CEO of PT Siemens Indonesia, Lamine Jendoubi said the software grant and partnership with campuses aims to support the green energy transition and increase skills in Indonesia.

Through the Siemens University Initiative Program, Siemens Indonesia provided a grant for Siemens PSS®E Electrical Power System Planning and Simulation Software.
