Signature hunt in Colombo against PTA (Pictures)

A signature drive against the Prevention of Terrorism Act took place in Colombo today.

The signing ceremony was held in front of the Colombo – Fort Railway Station.

Earlier, it was announced that the signing ceremony would be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event was attended by MPs Hakeem, Mano Ganesan, Ir. Chanakyan and former Speaker Karu Jayasuriya.

In addition, religious leaders, civil society activists and the general public attended and signed the petition.

The signature struggle for the complete abolition of the anti-terrorism law was recently launched from the Mullaitivu district.

It is noteworthy that this struggle was subsequently extended to other districts in the North and continued in the Eastern Province.
