The Ministry of Education of the Government of National Unity signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, ISESCO, to establish a framework for bilateral cooperation and understanding in the field of education.

According to the Ministry’s statement, the memorandum includes the exchange of information and experiences in the field of preparing, qualifying and developing educational, administrative and technical frameworks, and in the field of integrating information and communications technology, as well as cooperation in the field of preserving cultural heritage of all kinds, and encouraging national participation of students and students in scientific, sporting and cultural events and competitions. .

According to the memorandum, areas of cooperation include curriculum development, digital transformation, e-learning, remedial education, combating school dropouts and failure, training and qualifying teachers, supporting educational rehabilitation centers and institutions, and developing a framework for scientific equations between certificates and degrees.

The memorandum was signed by the Minister of Education and Chairman of the National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, Musa Al-Magarif, and the Director-General of ISESCO, Salem bin Muhammad Al-Malik, under the auspices of Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, according to a statement issued by the ministry.

The memorandum signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, the Libyan delegate to the Islamic World Organization for Education, Culture and Science, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Supervision Affairs, the advisor to the Minister of Education and the directors of information and documentation centres, training and education development, educational curricula and educational research. And a number of department directors at the National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.
