The Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund signed a number of contracts with the Egyptian Arab Contractors Company to implement some new projects in several Libyan cities.
The Director of the “Development and Reconstruction Fund of Libya” Belqasim Haftar said, after the signing of the agreements with the Chairman of the Egyptian “Arab Contractors” Company, Ahmed Al-Assar: “Two contracts were signed to implement bridges in Tobruk, and this is only the beginning, as we have other projects in infrastructure, roads and construction.”
Haftar confirmed, “Signing a contract to prepare the road linking Tobruk and Amsaid in the coming days,” stressing that “there is a study to contract with several companies to develop the entrance to Libya from the eastern side.”
Haftar addressed, “Salutes to the companies for contributing to the reconstruction of Libya in Benghazi as well as in the city of Derna,” adding, “We are happy with the presence of large Egyptian companies that have carried out major works in Egypt and have the efficiency and experience that qualifies them to implement new projects in Libya.”
