Signing of a partnership agreement to promote creativity and culture in the southern regions
Rabat – The League of Moroccan Women Writers, the Sahara Press Club and the “A’idine” Association for Integrated Development and Defense of the Territorial Integrity of the Kingdom in the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region recently signed in Rabat a cooperation and partnership agreement for the promotion of creativity, culture and Hassani heritage in the southern regions of the Kingdom.
According to a press release from the League of Moroccan Writers, this agreement particularly targets the documentation of information and data, the media promotion of Hassani heritage while investing in the media and creative and artistic writing in the three southern regions capable of strengthening the preservation of national memory and encouraging creativity and the quest for excellence among young people.
The signatories will pool their efforts to develop roadmaps and cultural action plans of common interest, exchange expertise in all related fields, contribute to the development of the cultural movement in Morocco and promote cultural matters at the local, regional and national levels.
They also commit to supporting the various women’s initiatives aimed at highlighting the cultural contributions of women within society and strengthening their presence at the level of cultural institutions, in addition to their association with cultural advocacy during the various national and international forums, the press release states.
