The “RocketBiker” festival was opened on Friday, August 16, with a night race, in which 2017 European Enduro champion Edgars Siliņš won the laurels on the 12 km long dark forest track for the second year in a row, leaving behind Aivars Kūkojas and Jurtos Brauers on the podium. from Estonia.

Siliņš continued to demonstrate his dominance on the track the next day in the “Prologue” or qualification, where he reached the finish line the fastest. The second place was won by Miko Poder from Estonia, and the third place was Mick Rasmanis.

In the “Super Enduro” discipline, for which the 32 fastest “Prologa” drivers qualified, Edgars Siliņš won again. Here the race was held according to the “Play off” system in pairs on an artificially created obstacle course. Edgars, entering the final race of the best eight athletes, was the most skilled within three laps and won. Kristaps Kīlis won second place, while Miko Poders from Estonia took third place for the second year in a row. Miks Rasmanis, last year’s runner-up in this discipline, finished fourth, Māris Biruls took 6th place, Kārlis Reinfeld took 7th place. Supem, who started with an 85cc class motorcycle, and the 8th place – Laurim Ārmanim.

If in “Super Enduro” Ārmanis was only eighth, then in “Flattrack”, which is a round trip, Lauris was the fastest. The second step of the podium was taken by Miks Rasmanis, and the third by Edgars Siliņš.

The night races, “Prologs”, “Super Enduro”, “Flattrack” were, of course, a warm-up before the main course, which had a total length of 60 km. To become a finisher of “Rocketbiker Enduro 2024”, the participant had to complete this artificial and natural obstacle course within the control time (4 h). Edgars Siliņš did it the fastest, once again demonstrating his superiority over his competitors. Miko Poders from Estonia became the vice-champion of “RocketBiker 2024”, while Miks Rasmanis climbed to the third step of the podium, just like in 2023.

In total, 40 athletes out of 160 riders completed the course within the time limit, receiving commemorative medals for the finishers as proof of their achievements.
