India won silver in men’s doubles table tennis at the Commonwealth Games.

Indian sportsmen and women are collecting medals in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Especially on the 10th day today, they collect gold, silver and bronze medals.

Today, while Indian men and women have collected medals in boxing, athletics and badminton, medals have also been won in table tennis.

India vs England in men’s doubles table tennis final. India’s Achantha Sharath Kamal and Sathyan Gnanasekaran took on England’s Paul Drinkhall and William Pitchford.

Sharad Kamal – Sathyan Gnanasekaran, who played tremendously in the final, lost to England 11-8, 8-11, 3-11, 11-7, 4-11. Losing in the final, they won the silver medal they had already secured when they advanced to the final. If he had won this match he would have won the gold. But losing to the English pair missed out on gold and won silver.
