“My bloc’s decision was to accompany the Base Law and in that sense collaborate so that agreements were reached for its sanction. But his work continued: he participated in negotiation meetings with the opposition, even in some where there were no members of La Libertad Avanza present. His political reference was always close to Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, the former mayor of Buenos Aires who, in his few appearances after the electoral defeat, was very harsh with the President.. Lospennato and Larreta are so close that the former presidential candidate had presented her as part of his cabinet if he won. It didn’t happen.
