Various celebrities including Rajinikanth, Tendulkar participated in the opening ceremony of Nida Ambani Cultural Center in Mumbai.
A grand ‘Needa Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center’ has been launched in Mumbai to develop infrastructure for nurturing Indian arts and to recognize artists. The Kalasara Center is located at the Jio Global Center in Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The 4-storied building houses a 2000-seat theatre, a state-of-the-art studio and a theater for performing arts. Nida Ambani danced and welcomed the guests at the grand opening ceremony.
This was followed by music, costume exhibition and spectacular performances. Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani and his wife Shokala Mehda, Reliance Retail Chairman Isha Ambani and her husband Anand Piramal, Reliance Energy Chairman Anand Ambani and his fiancée Radhika Merchant were present at the event.
Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, film industry celebrities Rajinikanth, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor among many celebrities participated. Speaking on the occasion, Nida Ambani said the cultural center will be a place to showcase the best of India to the world and welcome the best of the world to India. Photos of actor Rajinikanth participating in the function are going viral on the internet. Rajinikanth attended the event with younger daughter Soundarya wearing a black t-shirt and black pants. Especially during the program, Rajinikanth sat in the seat next to Mukesh Ambani and observed the entire program.
