Sinan Ogan, who was nominated for the presidency by the ATA Alliance formed by the Victory Party, the Justice Party, the Turkey Alliance Party and the My Country Party, applied for the YSK. Sinan Ogan was accompanied by the Chairman of the Victory Party, Ümit Özdağ. Ogan will be a presidential candidate if 100 thousand signatures are given to him by the voters.
‘WE WANT TO TAKE OUR PLACE IN THE RACE’
Speaking to reporters after his application, Sinan Ogan said, “Why did we become a presidential candidate? Because as Turkish nationalists and Kemalists, we could not consent to Turkey being squeezed between HDP and HUDA PAR. Why did we become a presidential candidate? Because unfortunately, earthquakes do not kill in Turkey, incompetence does. “The Turkish economy is far behind what it should be today. Turkey has many problems, from our education system to social balance. That’s why, as Turkish nationalists and Kemalists, we said, ‘We are in this race. “We want to collect signatures very quickly and take our place in the race with the signature process that will start on the day of the next day. We think that the elections will go to the second round and we will win these elections in the second round. We will be on the field as an ambitious candidate of Turkish nationalists and Kemalists for the second round.” he said.
