At the heart of the crisis in Niger, it will not be possible to evade the migration issue. The explanation is simple: for several years now, Niger has been a key stopover for sub-Saharan exiles on the migratory route that leads them to Europe. On its paths are found migrants expelled from Algeria, but also candidates for exile leaving for Libya.
