In the AppleTV documentary “The Me You Can’t See” with talk legend Oprah Winfrey (67), Prince Harry (36) spoke openly about his darkest hours and about the fact that he has been working with a therapist on his trauma for four years is working.
Many Royal fans found it his public soul striptease sometimes a bit strange. Now the musician Sinéad O’Connor (54, “Nothing Compares 2 U”) wrote Harry a public letter. She is enthusiastic about his merciless openness.
“As someone who is traumatized and struggles with mental health problems, I would like to let you know how excited I am about your TV series,” the Irish singer asked the British Prince in the Irish “Independent”. “You rock it, to use a musical term.”

Why does she write to Harry in public?
“Because you and I have something in common,” explains Sinéad O’Connor with regard to Harry’s mother Diana († 36), who died in a tragic car accident in 1997. “I lost my mother in a car accident too … I know the grief you were brave enough to share with the public.”
The death of her own mother is “a shock that takes years to overcome,” writes the 54-year-old, whose mother Marie died when she was 19 years old. “When someone dies so violently and suddenly, it takes a lifetime to recover from it.”
When Harry spoke so openly about his grief in his documentary and let out his anger, she was able to “identify” with him. Because it was the same with her. “I am sure that it is the same for each of us who has ever lost someone so suddenly.”
The singer believes that his mother Diana would be proud of Harry. Because the prince does so much to educate about mental health and fight prejudice.
