Singer forced to cancel first concert for treatment, fans worried

American star Usher had to cancel at the last minute the first date of his new tour “Past, Present, Future” which was due to start this Wednesday, August 14 in Atlanta, his hometown. The 44-year-old singer cited health reasons, explaining that he needed rest to allow his body to recover. An announcement that surprised and disappointed his many fans, warned only 12 hours before the start of the show.

In a message posted on social media, Usher made a point of apologizing to his audience, while justifying his decision. He explained that he had always been keen to give the best of himself on stage to offer an unforgettable experience to his fans.

However, his current state of health did not allow him to perform the first concert in optimal conditions.

“I don’t want to disappoint you, the fans who have been looking forward to this tour for a long time. I wouldn’t be the stage man I am if I didn’t give you my best”he said sincerely.
