Alappuzha> Film playback singer Edava Basheer passes away He was 80 years old. While singing the song, he collapsed on the stage in Alappuzha. He was rushed to the hospital but could not save his life.
Basheer’s first film song was ‘Veena Vaikkumen Viralthumpile’. Basheer sang the super hit song ‘Azithiramalakal Azhakinte Malakal’. He was born in a parish village in Thiruvananthapuram. Later the name of the village was added to his own name.
