Singer Ruben Aguiar was cleared of attempted murder charges. This Saturday, March 16th, on his Instagram account, the artist revealed that the “video of the accident was fundamental” to the court’s decision.
“The crime of attempted qualified murder, which I was being accused of, fell. The video of the accident was essential for the excellent judge to verify that there was no attempted murder,” he wrote. “The framing of the crime was a mistake,” added the artist.
In November 2023, the Public Ministry of Montijo accused Ruben Aguiar of attempted qualified homicide. At issue was a hit-and-run accident involving the singer after an argument with a 56-year-old man at a gas station on the A33, in Alcochete.
