The check is unlikely to be 250 euros as announced

That of the government will be a race: there are only 3 months to the now official date (July 1) for the departure of the Universal Child Allowance, the new benefit to families that will send all the old bonuses (from the birth bonus to the bonus beb), finally putting order in the many resources destined for families and which over time have dispersed into too many streams. After the go-ahead in the Senate for the Family Act bill, which contains the measure, the countdown has begun for the enactment of the implementing decrees, but above all the race to find the necessary resources. According to the first calculations, the funds put in place (about 20 billion euros) would make it possible to cover the allowances for an average of 150 euros per child, therefore much less than the average 250 euros also announced by Draghi himself. To obtain the benefit, a series of requirements must be met, which prevent a priori from a generalized quantification of the envisaged measure. Let’s try to roughly calculate how much the allowance that the families will receive and what are the proposals put forward by the Arel / Feg / Alliance for childhood working group.
