Behind him, now 800 points behind, the Russian Daniil Medvedev, with the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas on the third step of the podium (best ranking). The German Alexander Zverev, victorious in Vienna, approaches the Hellenic, followed by the Spanish Rafa Nadal (in turn extends the record streak to 841 consecutive weeks in the top ten) who closed his 2021 early, preceding the Russian Andrey Rublev .
So Matteo Berrettini – who entered the top ten in November 2019 -, who sees the points behind the Muscovite reduced to 382.
