In dealing with this proceeding, Jannik was assisted by a lawyer, Jamie Singer of Onside Law, who commented on the outcome of the case as follows: «Anti-doping rules must be extremely strict to be effective. For this reason, it can happen that in some cases even innocent athletes can be involved.
