(ANSA) – ROME, JULY 31 – “Fascisms and neo-fascisms are intolerable. All extremisms are pathological, because intolerance of ideas different from one’s own is always a pathology”. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Justice Francesco Paolo Sisto, interviewed by La Stampa.
For the Forza Italia representative, once the magistrates have concluded their investigations into the new episode of violence linked to a Casapound militant, “if there are grounds for dissolving the organization, politics should not hesitate.”
Sisto then underlines: “I can say that before this last serious episode there were others. And I see that those who embrace political extremism resort more often, statistically, to attacks like those of these weeks. These are environments in which the germ of violence matures more easily”.
As for the Prisons decree, “I don’t know if it will be enough. It is undoubtedly a step forward”. In any case, “the decree has prepared a therapy structured in a system of interventions.
Some of these are immediate, such as those on health or on streamlining procedures to be able to grant measures to prisoners”. (ANSA).
