Multi-sensor cameras

“Today’s multi-sensor security cameras require advanced capabilities of computer vision and artificial intelligence – to maximize performance and minimize reliance on cloud connectivity in data analysis,” said Jimmy Su, vice president at Novatek. “Siva’s SP500 processor provides excellent real-time performance for computer vision, artificial intelligence analysis and sensor fusion for end products – guaranteeing our customers a robust and flexible camera solution that can be adapted to their requirements.”

The director of the computer vision division at Siva, Ran Shanir, added: “We are satisfied with the expansion of the collaboration with Novatek and are happy to assist it in developing the new generation of chips for security cameras that include the most advanced computer vision and artificial intelligence applications. Our sensor processor supports the analysis and processing of information from cameras in real time, including image processing and artificial intelligence from a large number of sensors simultaneously and with minimal power consumption.’

Siva and Novatek will present the new joint solution for security cameras at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 5-8 in Las Vegas, at the Siva Pavilion.
