Calais – Six people have died trying to cross the English Channel from France to Britain. This was announced by the responsible French marine prefecture on Saturday. One person was flown to a hospital in a helicopter and pronounced dead. According to initial information from the authorities, five other rescued people were in poor condition. It was later announced that they, too, were pronounced dead.
